Muse Asia Licenses Moriarty the Patriot, The Journey of Elaina, Magatsu Wahrheit, More Anime in Southeast Asia

Muse Asia announced on Sunday that it has licensed the Moriarty the Patriot, Wandering Witch - The Journey of Elaina, Magatsu Wahrheit -Zuerst-, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? III, Noblesse, and A3! Season Autumn & Winter anime in Southeast Asia. The company will add distribution details for the anime at a later date.

The television anime of Ryōsuke Takeuchi and Hikaru Miyoshi's Yūkoku no Moriarty (Moriarty the Patriot) manga will premiere in Japan on Tokyo MX on October 11 at 10:30 p.m., and on BS11 and MBS on October 13.

Kazuya Nomura (Joker Game, Run With the Wind, Black Fox) is directing the anime at Production I.G. Go Zappa and Taku Kishimoto are in charge of the series scripts. Tooru Ookubo (Sengoku Basara - Samurai Kings, Tokimeki Restaurant: Miracle6) is designing the characters and is also the chief animation director.

Tasuku Hatanaka will perform the anime's opening theme song "DYING WISH," while STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION will perform the ending theme song "ALPHA."

Takeuchi and Miyoshi debuted the manga in Shueisha's Jump SQ. magazine in August 2016. Takeuchi draws the storyboards and Miyoshi provides the art. Shueisha published the manga's 12th compiled volume on July 3.

The television anime of Jougi Shiraishi's Wandering Witch - The Journey of Elaina (Majo no Tabitabi) light novel series will premiere in Japan on AT-X on October 2 at 9:00 p.m., before debuting on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, and BS11 later that night. The anime will then debut on TV Aichi on October 3 at 25:50 (effectively October 4 at 1:50 a.m.).

Toshiyuki Kubooka (Harukana Receive, Berserk film trilogy) is directing the anime at C2C, and Kazuyuki Fudeyasu is supervising and writing the series scripts. Takeshi Oda is adapting Azuru's original character art for animation, and Kazumasa Nishio is credited with concept designs.

Reina Ueda is performing the opening theme song "Literature." ChouCho is performing the ending theme song "Haiiro no Saga" (Gray Saga).

Yen Press publishes the light novel series in English, and it describes the story:

Once upon a time, there was a witch named Elaina, who set off on a journey across the world. Along the way, she would meet all kinds of people, from a country full of witches to a giant in love with his own muscles—but with each meeting, Elaina would become a small part of their story, and her own world would get a little bit bigger.

The novel series ranked at #9 on the 2018 Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! list, and at #6 on the 2019 list. SB Creative published the first novel in April 2016 and the 13th volume on July 14.

Magatsu Wahrheit -Zuerst-, the television anime of KLab Games' Magatsu Wahrheit smartphone role-playing game, will premiere in Japan in October.

Naoto Hosoda (The Devil is a Part-Timer!, The Future Diary, Shuffle!) is directing the anime at Yokohama Animation Lab (Miru Tights, Starlight Promises), and Hosoda is also supervising the series scripts and co-writing them with Yūichirō Momose (Africa Salaryman, Infinite Dendrogram, My First Girlfriend is a Gal). Akiko Sugizono is designing the characters, and Hirotsugu Kakoi is directing the art. Masaru Yokoyama (Fate/Apocrypha, 2019 Fruits Basket, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans) is composing the music.

The game takes place in a world full of both "Light" and despair. The "Mobile Army Corps" is the only entity able to stand up against the 10 "Lights" in order to keep the world from meeting its end.

The game launched in April 2019. Miwa Shōda (Final Fantasy XII) wrote the game's scenario, and Masaru Yokoyama composed the main theme. Hiroaki Ueno (Resident Evil Vendetta) and Yōko Tsukamoto (Xenoblade X) both drew concept art. Third Echoes (Caligula) is the character designer.

Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? III, the third anime season based on Fujino Ōmori and Suzuhito Yasuda's light novel series, will premiere on October 2, delayed from its original July premiere date due to the effects of the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19). The third season will feature a returning staff and cast.

Rina Hidaka is joining the cast as the character Wiene, who was teased at the end of the final episode of the second season. Yuka Iguchi is returning to perform the anime's opening theme song "Over and Over." The band sajou no hana are performing the anime's ending theme song.

The anime's first season premiered in April 2015 and had 13 episodes, and the second season premiered in July 2019 and had 12 episodes. The anime franchise also includes two OVAs, the Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?: Arrow of the Orion film, and the Sword Oratoria: Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? On the Side spinoff television series.

Tthe Crunchyroll Original anime of Jeho Son and Kwangsu Lee's Noblesse manhwa will premiere on Tokyo MX at 24:00 on October 7 (effectively October 8 at 12:00 a.m.) and on BS11 at 25:30 (effectively October 8 at 1:30 a.m.).

Yasutaka Yamamoto (Hinomaru Sumo, Squid Girl Season 2) is directing the anime as a co-production between Crunchyroll and WEBTOON. Sayaka Harada (Starmyu, Code:Realize -Guardian of Rebirth-) is in charge of series composition. Akiharu Ishii (The Prince of Tennis II, Blood+) is handling character designs and chief animation supervision.

Kim Jae-joong will perform the anime's theme song "BREAKING DAWN." K-pop group OH MY GIRL will perform the ending theme song "Etoile."

Raizel awakens from his 820-year slumber.

He holds the special title of Noblesse, a pure-blooded Noble and protector of all other Nobles. In an attempt to protect Raizel, his servant Frankenstein enrolls him at Ye Ran High School, where Raizel learns the simple and quotidian routines of the human world through his classmates.

However, the Union, a secret society plotting to take over the world, dispatches modified humans and gradually encroaches on Raizel's life, causing him to wield his mighty power to protect those around him…

After 820 years of intrigue, the secrets behind his slumber are finally revealed, and Raizel's absolute protection as the Noblesse begins!


A3! Season Autumn & Winter will premiere in Japan on October 12.

Masayuki Sakoi (Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online, Cautious Hero: The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious), series director for the first series, is replacing Makoto Nakazono and Keisuke Shinohara as director at P.A.WORKS and Studio 3Hz. Naoki Hayashi (Black Fox) is returning to handle the series scripts. Nozomi Nagatomo, chief animation director for the previous anime, is taking over for Mariko Komatsu to adapt the original character designs by Ryō Fujiwara.

The anime's website credits four chief animation directors for the first anime, but lists none for the new series. Similarly, the updated staff list does not include the role of HOA, which Tri-Slash handled for the previous anime. Kohei Honda (Given, As Miss Beelzebub Likes) of Kusanagi is replacing Hiroko Tanabe of Kusanagi as art director. Manami Sasa (Michiru Rescue!, Chichibu de Buchichi) of Wish is replacing Yuko Tsumori to handle color design. Hidemitsu Doi is again in charge of editing, but Gō Sadamatsu (Golden Kamuy, Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online) is joining him. The other main staff members are returning in the same roles for the new series.

A3! Season Spring & Summer, the first two arcs animated, began with the "Season Spring" arc on January 13, but delayed episode 4 and beyond due to issues related to COVID-19 exacerbating scheduling problems in the production. The anime restarted its airing from the first episode again on April 6. The series' previously delayed fourth episode premiered on April 27. The "Season Summer" arc launched on May 18 with seven episodes.
