Yen Press Licenses 5 Manga, 4 Light Novels for October

Yen Press announced on Friday the following light novels, manga, and books for release in October.

Title: Reign of the Seven Spellblades (Nanatsu no Maken ga Shihai Suru) manga
Creators: Bokuto Uno (story), Ruria Miyuki (character design), Sakae Esuno (art)
Summary: When a boy and girl meet at a prestigious magic school, the curtain to a supreme fantasy series opens!

This year's new students arrive at Kimberley Magic School. What meets them there is a brilliant parade of cherry blossoms in full bloom and magical creatures. They don't know--this academy is a living demon's shrine where no one's life is guaranteed. A school fantasy about spellblades!

Yen Press is releasing the light novel series of the same name.


Title: The Detective Is Already Dead (Tantei wa Mō, Shindeiru) manga

Summary: I, an ordinary highschool student, Kimihiko Kimizuka, I was embroiled completely flawlessly into a plane hijacking, where I became the assistant to the angelically beautiful detective girl I met. Yen Press released the first part of the Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? manga as well as the light novel of the same name.

Yen Press will release the manga in two omnibus volumes.

Creators: Ken Niimura
