ADV ANNOUNCES PACKED SCHEDULE OF EXHIBITIONS, PROMOTIONS FOR 2003 SAN DIEGO COMIC-CON INTERNATIONAL

NATION'S LARGEST COMIC-BOOK AND GENRE ENTERTAINMENT EXPOSITION DRAWS TENS OF THOUSANDS OF FANS

HOUSTON, July 16, 2003-ADV Films, Newtype USA and Anime Network today jointly announced a nearly overwhelming schedule of events, exhibitions, promotions, screenings and announcements for San Diego Comic-Con International, to take place at the San Diego Convention Center, Thursday July 17 through Sunday, July 20, 2003 (the convention will open for a special preview tonight, Wednesday, July 16).

THE BOOTH
The A.D. Vision, Inc. companies (including ADV Films, Newtype USA and Anime Network) will be headquartered at booth #3115.

STUFF TO BUY
As always, there will be stacks of DVDs and other goodies to buy at the booth, including the already legendary OTAKU BAR soap!

FREE STUFF
Giveaways. Constantly. T-shirts, stickers, you name it.

INTERESTING PEOPLE
In addition to numerous staff members, ADV Films is sending Co-Founder, Senior Producer and VP of Production Matt Greenfield, DVD Producer David L. Williams, and "Lady Death" Producer Andy Orjuela to the convention.

ANIME NETWORK
Demand Your Anime Sweepstakes
The Demand Your Anime Sweepstakes rolls into its third week! Open to anyone who logs on to www.theanimenetwork.com and demands The Anime Network from his/her cable provider, the Demand Your Anime Sweepstakes has a 2004 Honda Civic Si as its grand prize, plus weekly prizes as well. Computer terminals will be available at booth #3115 so that convention attendees can sign up on the spot.

Anime Network in High Definition
Anime Network, the nation's first 24-hour network dedicated to Japanese animation, is presenting an ongoing series of exclusive preview screenings of the network's latest offering: Anime Network in High Definition. The preview, giving just a taste of the content that is to air on iN DEMAND's suite of 24-hour High-Definition channels (INHD and INHD2), will include eye-popping content from "NOIR," "Spriggan," "Samurai X," "You're Under Arrest" and the wildly anticipated series "Magical Shopping Street Abenobashi." Screenings will take place all day, every day during the convention; admission is Free!, but requires a ticket, available through the ADV Films/Anime Network booth (#3115) or from The Anime Network's team of roving staffers. Screenings take upstairs, in Room 27A.

THRILLING SCREENINGS
ADV Films anime titles will screen throughout the convention; detailed schedules and locations are available through www.sdcc.org; titles slated to screen include episodes from "RahXephon," "King of Bandit Jing," "Aura Battler Dunbine," "Saiyuki," "Sakura Wars TV" "Samurai X," "Voices of a Distant Star" and much, much more.

CELEBRITY APPEARANCES
Stars from three of ADV Films' live-action science fiction releases will appear to sign autographs:

· Saturday, July 19, 12:00 pm - 2:30 pm: Gordon Michael Woolvet, "Harper" from "Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda;"
· Saturday, July 19, 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm: Forbes March, "Jesse Kilmartin" from "Mutant X;"
· Sunday, July 20, 11:00 am - 2:00 pm: Daniel Goddard, "Dar the BeastMaster" from "BeastMaster." Goddard will be accompanied by a servil cat, a leopard-like feline.

FASCINATING PANEL MEETINGS
"Lady Death"
Andy Orjuela, Producer of the "Lady Death" feature film, will appear with ADV's Rod Peters at the "Lady Death" panel, Friday, July 18, 12:30-1:30 pm in Room 6A. Be there for updates on the production, a look at the latest trailer and sneak peeks of the latest artwork.

"What's New at ADV?"
Greenfield and Williams take the stage later on Friday for the "What's New at ADV?" panel, looking at the firm's latest strategic initiatives, new acquisitions and impending releases. July 18, 3:30-4:30 pm, Room 9.

"Get to Know ADV"
Greenfield and Williams again hold court, this time to give more exclusive background on the firm, plus the latest information on ADV PRO's production of "Mutineer's Moon" and of course ADV Films' biggest announcement of late: the Live-Action "Neon Genesis Evangelion" feature. Saturday, July 19, 3:30-4:30 pm, Room 9.
