Sakura-Con 2004 is proud to announce our first
Guest of Honor for 2004.

Akitaroh Daichi

Mr. Daichi is the creator of such successful shows as "Elf Princess Raine", "Jubei-chan: The Ninja Girl", "Now and Then, Here and There", and "Carried By the Wind Tsukikaze Ran". Mr. Daichi is also known for the direction of such hits "Kodomo no Omocha (Child's Toy)", "Akazukin Cha Cha (Little Red Riding Hood Cha Cha)", Nurse Angel Ririka", and "Fruits Basket". He is
currently now working on directing "Jubei-Chan 2". This will be Mr. Daichi's first trip to the Pacific Northwest!

ANCEA is a Washington State and Federal non-profit organization whose purpose is to encourage the appreciation of Asian Culture through Japanese Animation and Comics. Founded in 1999 in Washington, the group is responsible for coordinating Sakura-Con convention held in the Greater Seattle Area.
