BURBANK, CA (November 18, 2003) — Kids WB invites viewers to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday – in a non-traditional way – as the Teen Titans present the network's first annual "Turkey! Surprise Day" on Saturday, November 29 (8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. ET). The teen superheroes will host the exciting morning event from their T-shaped Titans Towers with the festivities to feature some of their original home movies – including what they did for Thanksgiving…with a giant seven-foot Turkey! that really enjoys playing “Turkey! Day” pranks on unsuspecting kids and adults.
Viewers also are in for a unique treat as the super-duper teens give sneak-peeks of what's to come on Kids WB in 2004. Kids won't want to miss these exciting sneak-peeks highlighting the new seasons of returning hits Static Shock and Megaman: NT Warrior, as well as the comeback of Kids WB favorites What's New Scooby-Doo? and Ozzy & Drix to the Saturday morning schedule. Fans of animé-adventures Pokémon - Advanced and Yu-Gi-Oh!: Enter The Shadow Realm will get a glimpse into the future of both series – as each of their captivating storylines will reach the ultimate climax! The morning also will feature a look at the highly anticipated new series of the classic icon, Astro Boy, debuting on Kids WB in early 2004.
To get in the “Turkey! Surprise Day” spirit, Kids WB will jump-start the holiday fun with a new LINE-up, beginning Saturday, November 22. The revised Saturday morning schedule will have a double airing of Pokémon - Advanced in its regular 10:00 a.m. ET time period and its new 11:30 a.m. ET time slot.
