UshiCon's Announces First Musical Guest

Ushicon is proud to announce its first musical
guest of honor, Koda Kumi. This is Kumi's first convention
appearance and Ushicon's first concert. There will be a concert Friday night followed by a panel and autograph session on Saturday.

Koda Kumi recently celebrated her third year as a singer. Her debut single, "TAKE BACK," and 2nd single, "Trust Your Love," were released as remix singles in America shortly after her
debut. Both of them made it to the tops of the Billboard Dance charts.
She has since released 8 singles, 2 albums, and 1 music video
collection DVD in Japan. Koda is most well-known for her involvement with the Japanese version of Final Fantasy X-2 where she sang the theme song and insert song, "1000 no Kotoba" and "real Emotion," as well as providing the voice for the character Lenne. Also of interest to American anime fans is her theme song for the on-going series Gilgamesh, "Crazy
4 U," and her cover of "Cutie Honey Flash" for the upcoming live action movie, "Cutie Honey."

So please join us in welcoming Kumi to Ushicon and being part of the first US Jpop concert of 2004.
