Juvenile Orion #2 at Waldenbooks

AQUARIAN AGE - JUVENILE ORION DEBUTS AT #2 IN WALDENBOOKS

Los Angeles, CA (January 30, 2004) Aquarian Age: Juvenile Orion Volume 1, the newest release from Broccoli Books, debuted at #2 in Manga retail sales, and #12 in trade paperback sales at Waldenbooks. Aquarian Age: Juvenile Orion is currently available exclusively at Waldenbooks and Borders Book & Music stores.

A five-volume Manga series, Aquarian Age: Juvenile Orion is a fantasy-romance title about a high school girl and the five men who gather to protect her, all with supernatural abilities.

“We are very surprised at how well the title did, considering the fact the author is unknown in the United States, and there is currently no anime out for this series,” stated Broccoli Books President Hideki Uchino. “Aquarian Age is one of our biggest hits in Japan, and hopefully we can expect the same here in the States.”

Fans of the title can expect more high quality Manga and merchandise available soon. “We are currently discussing posters and other items for Waldenbooks, Borders, and other retailers to carry,” stated Licensing & Merchandising sales director Shizuki Yamashita. “We will continue to do that for our other Manga releases, especially for Galaxy Angel which is coming out in March.”
