ADV MANGA ANNOUNCES MAY STREET DATES

SIX BRAND NEW TITLES AND FOUR CONTINUING EDITIONS

HOUSTON, April 5, 2004—ADV Manga today announced its May 2004 street dates, with six new titles including Blue Inferior, Chrono Crusade, Desert Coral, Kagerou-Nostalgia, Saint Marie and Prétear. Continuing editions are being announced for Figure 17, volume 2 of 2; Those Who Hunt Elves, volume 3 of 21; Steel Angel Kurumi, volume 4 of 9; and The Ruler of the Land, volume 2 of 31.

Blue Inferior, Volume 1 of 4
Blue Inferior offers intrigue, danger and friendship— making this adventure tale appealing to readers of all ages.

In a world virtually destroyed by environmental pollution, life is sparse and grim, with only a few civilized societies remaining in small pockets along the coast. Earth is no longer a lush variety of landscapes, but rather, a series of contaminated deserts. Stories of vicious sub-humans keep the inhabitants of these tiny oases nervous and apprehensive. They are in no way welcoming to outsiders, not even those such as Marine, a young girl who washes up on the shore. Remembering nothing of her past, and all alone, she is found and befriended by Kazuya, a young boy who loves the sea and has a natural curiosity about the outside world. But the rest of Kazuya's community is not so hospitable, and Marine is soon imprisoned by people who believe her to be a subhuman creature. It is up to Kazuya to help her escape and uncover the mystery of her past.
