LONG BEACH, CA Geneon Entertainment expands its slate of rousing anime soundtracks with Neon Genesis Evangelion Day Of Second Impact, Fooly Cooly Original Soundtrack 2 - King of Pirates and R.O.D -The TV- - Original Soundtrack 1 debuting on CD September 7. Only on Neon Genesis Evangelion Day Of Second Impact can audiences find J-pop music, love ballads, fatalistic lyrics and sweeping sonatas. In Fooly Cooly Original Soundtrack 2 King of Pirates, the verse-defying, guitar-blasting J-Rock group The Pillows come roaring back with more sit-up-and-take-notice grooving beats and vocals on this second soundtrack to the ingeniously chaotic Fooly Cooly series. Featuring music by Taku Iwasaki (R.O.D. OVA, Witch Hunter Robin, Rurouni Kenshin OVA) R.O.D -The TV- Original Soundtrack 1 is based on the red-hot R.O.D TV series. All three exhilarating soundtracks are priced at $14.98.
Neon Genesis Evangelion Day of Second Impact This 11-track compilation brings together on one soundtrack many of the impressive vocal songs and memorable instrumentals from both the TV show and movie and includes the English language songs, "Fly Me to the Moon," "Thanatos - If I Can't Be Yours -", "Come Sweet Death" and more. The Neon Genesis Evangelion Day Of Second Impact insert booklet features lyrics and credits in English with phonetic Japanese lyrics. Fooly Cooly Original Soundtrack 2 King of Pirates Musical collaborator Shinkichi Mitsumune (Utena, Love Hina, Sugar) spreads out more of his flavorful instrumentals to fuel the high dosage of anime insanity that inundates this quirky, off-the-wall anime. This 17-track CD includes the vocal songs "Crazy Sunshine," "Blues Drive Monster," "WHITE ASH," "Last Dinosaur" and "I Think I Can" along with five drama tracks.
R.O.D -The TV- - Original Soundtrack 1 R.O.D -The TV- Original Soundtrack 1 is slickly laid out with a lively jazz-dominant, dazzling, fast-paced composition which propels the roller coaster action and intriguing drama of the popular new series. Included on this 17-track CD is the series' intro theme "R.O.D - Opening Version." The insert booklet features titles and credits translated into English. R.O.D -The TV- Volume 2 DVD debuts in conjunction with the soundtrack.
