ADV FILMS ANNOUNCES OCTOBER 26 RELEASE DATES

HOUSTON, September 22, 2004—ADV Films, the #1 producer-distributor of anime in the U.S., today announced its October 26, 2004 street dates.

AQUARIAN AGE: TROUBLED DREAMS

ADV Films is happy to announce a street date of October 26, 2004 for the DVD release of Aquarian Age: Troubled Dreams, the second compelling volume in this intriguing series. Adapted from a popular Japanese trading card game, Aquarian Age's original storyline was undertaken by Broccoli (Di Gi Charat). The series was produced by Madhouse Studios (Sakura Wars, Chobits, X) and presented by Victor Entertainment, Inc., (Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040, RahXephon: The Movie) with music composed by Yuki Kajiura (.hack//SIGN, Noir). The mystical series follows the story of a young man who is unwittingly dragged into a cosmic war that has been building for centuries.

Kyota should be having the time of his life: The debut of his band has been set and beautiful girls are throwing themselves at him! Instead, he's singing the blues as the mystical war that surrounds him begins to heat up. Added to his misfortunes is his long time friend, Yoriko, who has been giving him the cold shoulder as her career as a movie star begins to take off. Why do people suddenly want to kill him and what's behind the sudden coldness in Yoriko's heart? Can he save her from the darkness sucking at her soul while keeping his own intact as well?

KALEIDO STAR: MASQUERADE

ADV Films announced a street date of October 26, 2004 for the DVD release of Kaleido Star: Masquerade, the fifth volume of this fun-filled anime series under the big top. Kaleido Star, the new series from renowned Japanese director Junichi Sato (Sailor Moon) and studios GONZO and HAL Film Maker, combines playful elements of children's anime with the sophisticated vision of talented acrobats from the big top.
