Based on the Japanese dojinshi, a.k.a comic, Lunar Legend Tsukihime follows Shiki, a high school student who has an ominous power, and Arcueid a vampire that has fallen prey to his deadly gaze, as the two try to rid the world of evil and use their mutual strengths to survive.

Featuring production design by Noriyuki Jinguji (Read Or Die OVA, Trigun, Scryed), original story by Hideyuki Kurata (Read Or Die OVA, Excel Saga), music by Taku Iwasaki (Read Or Die OVA, Witch Hunter Robin) and animation produced by J.C. The mesmerizing CD soundtrack, Tsukihime: Original Soundtrack 2 - Moonlit Memoirs is available February 8, 2005. Composer Toshiyuki O'mori (Nadesico, Evangelion, Dirty Pair) assembles perfect, harmonized pieces using strings, violins, harps, guitar, bass, percussion instruments and more, in order to craft 19 expressive instrumental tracks that penetrate deeply into the aural senses. Beautiful, yet tragic and foreboding, this CD is the follow-up to the first Tsukihime original soundtrack, further highlighting the rich background music appeal of this anime series.
