HOUSTON, February 14, 2005— The life of a teenage boy certainly isn't easy under the best of circumstances, but what do you do when there's somebody else destroying your life, and he's doing it while wearing your own body? Poor Daisuke certainly is no stranger to crises, but if he can't get the phantom thief Dark out of his genes and under control, his whole world is going to come a tumbling down. The chaos ensues in the third volume in the hit crossed-identity saga D.N.Angel: Facets of Darkness, hitting the shelves March 1, 2005.
Based on the manga by popular artist Yukiru Sugisaki and produced by Dentsu (Angelic Layer), Kadokawa Shoten (Full Metal Panic!), TV Tokyo (Cowboy Bebop) and Xebec (Sorcerer Hunters), this star-crossed adventure series puts a whole new twist on the classic themes of unrequited love and secret identity. D.N.Angel follows Daisuke's story of self-discovery, the pursuit of true love and the experience of sharing his identity with the legendary art thief Phantom Dark.
The Story:
Poor Daisuke Niwa is just a regular kid with some extraordinary DNA. As if growing up wasn't hard enough already! Now he has to carry out super secret thefts as the Phantom Thief Dark too. He's got plenty of obstacles along the way as well. The girl he loves is in love with his alter ego… His classmate is set on destroying the Phantom Thief, in other words…him. His Dad jumps back into his life after being gone for years…And on top of all that he has a lovesick rabbit!
