Seven Seas Announces Fan Art Contest
SEVEN SEAS ANNOUNCES FAN ART CONTEST
(Los Angeles, February 15, 2005) – Seven Seas Entertainment announced yesterday the unveiling of its second web-based contest -- The Great Gomanga Fan-fare! Running from February 14 through March 13, 2005, the contest allows artists the chance to flex their creative muscles by taking the characters from Seven Seas' five current series (Amazing Agent Luna, Aoi House, Blade for Barter, Last Hope, No Man's Land) and adding their own personal touch to them.
“The feedback we received from our Manga-fy Me Contest was amazing,” said Jason DeAngelis. “We decided to launch another contest as a fun way of interacting with fans and giving away prizes!”
Four prizes will be awarded for the best fan art, with two grand prizewinners receiving original artwork from a Seven Seas artist and their winning entry immortalized in the Seven Seas title that their fan art corresponds to. Two runners up will also have their art appear in an upcoming Seven Seas title, and all four winners will each receive a signed copy of the book their art appears in.
