GODANNAR: TIL DEATH DO US PART

“One Of The Most Purely Entertaining Anime Of The Entire Year” – Anime Insider

ADV Films is pleased to announce the second volume in the smash hit mecha series, Godannar: Til Death Do Us Part, is set to hit store shelves everywhere November 29.

Godannar is a genre-bending mecha anime series best described as equal parts action, adventure, and domestic soap opera. While much of anime is populated by high school vixens, magical fairies, and femme fatales, it's rare to find a married couple at the center of the story. And that's just one of the reasons Godannar stands out. That, and a female giant robot that jiggles. And a fantastic opening theme song.

Characters Designed by Takahiro Kimura (Brave King GaoGaiGar, Dirty Pair Flash and SD Gundam Force).

Synopsis: When His Ex comes back from the dead… The Honeymoon is definitely OVER! It's hard enough being secretly married, a giant robot pilot and in high school; but when your mother's also your boss, how's a girl to know what's personal and what's a matter of national security? All Anna knows is that her husband's up to something and Mom's covering his tracks! And things get even more complicated when the British Dragliner team crashes the party! Between the dashing Knight's attempts to mount every filly in the stable, the unexpected resurrection of Goh's first love and a volcanic island ruled by Mimetic Beasts, the Giant Robot action has never been hotter than in the second scorching volume of Godannar!

Godannar: Til Death Do Us Part (SRP $29.98 DVD) is a DVD-only release including episodes six through nine, presented in anamorphic video with both English 5.1 and Japanese 2.0 with English subtitles.
