Yaoi-manga.com invades Yaoi-Con this month!
For the first time ever, DMP and Yaoi-manga.com join forces with the folks at Biseinen-ya to help bring you the 5th anniversary of Yaoi-Con! (Fandoms Pass Style Remain).
"We're very excited to officially attend Yaoi-Con this year and invite You Higuri as part of the 5 year anniversary," say Director of Operations Isaac S. Lew. "After doing these types of books for a couple of years now, it's a great accomplishment to come to Yaoi-Con as the biggest publisher of BL manga."
Higuri-sensei, mangaka of such popular series as Ludwig, Seimaden, and Cutlass, headlined the inaugural Yaoi-Con back in 2001. This year she returns to the convention as a special guest of Digital Manga Publishing to promote their upcoming English-language version of her one volume continuation of the Gorgeous Carat manga, Gorgeous Carat Galaxy.
An eventful convention-going experience awaits you as DMP promises to deliver. In addition to supplying the "one of a kind" con with bags, you can expect them to include posters and an exclusive Yaoi-Con No. 5 manga sampler of DMP's new and future releases. The DMP panels are always a feature to attend, and this year we'll have new titles to announce as well as two major acquisitions that have never been done in North America. Next would be You Higuri-sensei herself that will be doing 2 autographs sessions, an art demonstration, and a Q&A panel to talk about her upcoming book Gorgeous Carat Galaxy by DMP.
To top it off, DMP and You Higuri present an extraordinary opportunity to attendees of Yaoi-Con as they will have a chance to have an exclusive lunch date with You Higuri! (A portion of the contest proceeds will go the victims of the recent hurricanes.)
