MIKOMICON ANIME, SCI-FI & GAMING CONVENTION TO FEATURE VOICE ACTOR WORKSHOP HOSTED BY JONATHAN KLEIN OF NEW GENERATION PICTURES.

Northridge, February 7th 2006 - The Mikomicon Anime, SCI-Fi and Gaming Convention to feature a Voice Actor Workshop hosted by Jonathan Klein of New Generation Pictures.

Other special guests panelists include: Robb Paulsen, Phillip Wilburn and Kyle Hebert.

Jonathan Klein is the vice-president, co-founder and co-owner of New Generation Pictures, Inc., a company that has been translating, subtitling and dubbing anime for such major companies as Geneon/Pioneer, Bandai, Urban Vision and Central Park Media. Robb Paulsen is one of the most popular voices in animation and won a Daytime Emmy in 1999 as "Outstanding Performer in an Animated Program" for Pinky and The Brain (WB).

Phillip Wilburn is known for his ability to imitate almost any voice from Regis Philbin to George W. Bush, and everything in between. He has done voice work for "Dragon Ball Z" on Cartoon Network and the "Lupin the Third" movie series.

Kyle Hebert has been a voice actor with Funimation since 2000. He is best known as the voice of teen Gohan and the Narrator from "Dragon Ball Z". Other notable roles include Falman ("Fullmetal Alchemist"), Karasu ("Yū Yū Hakusho"), Hanayama ("Baki the Grappler"), and General Headhunter ("Lupin: Dead or Alive").

The Mikomicon is very pleased to have these talented actors onhand to give the public an inside view of what it takes to be a voice actor.
