Wallace & Gromit, Musical Concerts Invade San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (July 29, 2006) �Wallace & Gromit are taking San
Francisco by storm! AOD 2006: San Francisco Animation Convention will
host
Aardman Animations for three days of claymation delight, featuring
events
such as film screenings, panels, workshops, and autograph sessions.

Traveling from Aardman headquarters in Bristol, United Kingdom, will be
Merlin Crossingham, a staff, key animator, and director for Aardman.
Most
recently Merlin Crossingham served as second unit director and lead
animator for Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit.

In addition to many other claymation, cartoon, comic, and Japanese
anime
related events, AOD 2006 will host a series of special anime-related
musical concerts. Fan favorites Stephanie Yanez, Piano Squall, and
Ramen &
Rice all will appear for a series of concerts during the convention,
events anime music fans will not want to miss

Other previously announced guests include Fullmetal Alchemist voice
actor
Vic Mignogna, Teen Titans creator Marv Wolfman, Happy Tree Friends
writer
Ken Pontac, Real Life creator/artist Greg Dean, Harmony Gold creative
director Tommy Yune, Anime Essentials writer Gilles Poitras, Tea Club
creator/artist Phuong-Mai Bui-Quang, and convention personality Brad
DeMoss.

AOD 2006 will take place August 4-6, 2006 at the Cathedral Hill Hotel
in
