The RomeFilmFest, which will begin on Friday, October 13th, 2006, is a full-fledged international film festival to be held for the first time in Rome. Approximately 100 works will be exhibited in this new festival. In the competition, a people's jury made up of fifty filmgoers and presided by a highly acclaimed Italian film director Ettore Scola, will assign the award for the best film as well as the awards for best actor and best actress. BRAVE STORY was selected to compete in the category for children of ages from 8 to 13 years old. The animated adventure story will be screened daily from Sunday, October 15th to Thursday, October 19th. A jury made up of children of the target age group will announce the winner of the Best Film in the category on Friday, October 20th.

BRAVE STORY is based on a fantasy novel by popular Japanese writer Miyuki Miyabe. The story revolves around an 11 year old boy whose dreams and wishes eventually open the door to a great adventure.

GDH has always sought to create animations that appeal to global audiences. GDH believes that having this animated feature film in the competition of the inaugural film festival of the global scale will bring further international recognition to its highly acclaimed GONZO brand.
