Bakuretsu Con Announces New Guests
New Web Comic and Fan Parody Guest
COLCHESTER, VERMONT – October 16, 2006- The staff of Bakuretsu Con is excited to announce that web comic artists the Comiku Girls and fan parody director Scott Melzer will our guests of honor. The annual convention will be held November 3-5, 2006.
The Comiku Girls are know for their comic that centers on Akiko & Li, 2 artists/otaku, and their experiences at various conventions and the occasional life between. Stupid customers, shrieking fangirls, packing for conventions, adventures in cosplaying, the people who run and attend conventions. A comic about art, anime fandom, and the ever-present fanboy! They are also known for their panels on Japanese culture.
Scott Melzer is the director of the widely know fan parody "This is Otakudom". Scott and NoN.D.E. Fanfilms have also made a second fan parody S.T.E.A.M. The Movie and will be presenting it at this year's convention.

About Bakuretsu Con: Bakuretsu Con is Vermont 's only Anime convention. We are located in Colchester right off of exit 16 on Interstate 89 at the Hampton Inn Conference Center.
