009-1 VOLUME 3

“Brilliantly Fun!” – Ain't It Cool News

ADV Films is pleased to present 009-1 Volume 3, the third and final volume in anime's favorite spy series! “It's like Golgo 13 mixed with Lupin the Third, only if Fujiko were the main character” (Anime World Order). 009-1 Volume 3 goes on sale October 16.

From legendary creator Shotaro Ishinomori (Kamen Rider, Kikaider, Gilgamesh) with help from veteran production companies TBS (Ah! My Goddess, This Ugly Yet Beautiful World) and Aniplex (Fullmetal Alchemist, Blood+) comes 009-1. The series stars Mylene Hoffman, a secret agent that Anime Insider describes as, “sophisticated, charming and disarming.”

Synopsis: She's faced death between the sheets, been captured and tortured by the enemy, and has raised the suspicion of her superiors for not being ruthless enough. Now Mylene Hoffman faces her greatest challenge yet when she sees the faces of mutant children exploited by the Eastern Bloc for living weapons research! Can she stop the program? Will she stop the children before they cause another nuclear explosion? From the beds of the enemy, to the surface of the moon, to a daring mission to preserve the innocent and the fate of the world itself, it's the thrilling finale to 009-1!

009-1 Volume 3 (SRP $29.98 DVD) is a DVD-only anamorphic release including the episodes 9-12 plus a special bonus episode, presented in both English 5.1 and Japanese 2.0 with English subtitles.
