Pacific Media Expo 2007 Concert Tickets on Sale This Weekend

PMX is only two weeks away and we just wanted to put out the call that event
and concert tickets are finally opening this weekend (whew! just in time).
Concert tickets go on sale TOMORROW afternoon around 1 PM. Exact times are
on the PMX website.

This year's event calendar is filling up fast and we're starting to wonder
why we didn't just go to 3 full days! We have a full roster of Concerts:

* 7 PM Friday Nov. 9: The Candy Spooky Theater (w/ D&L)
* 7 PM Saturday Nov. 10: LiN CLOVER (w/ Thee Out Mods)
* 7 PM Sunday Nov. 11: Head Phones President (w/ The Slants)

And a variety of guests:

* Clothing designers Asuka and Maki of Angelic Pretty
* Director Hiroyuki Tanaka
* Voice actor Kenjiro Tsuda
* Character designer and animator Takahiro Umehara
* Voice actress Yukana

Also appearing:

* GaGaalinG lead singer MYM
* Wong Fu Productions

New for 2007, we bring to you... Angelic Pretty's Magical Boutique, where you
can experience authentic Lolita shopping without flying to Japan or dealing
with middleman services. Browse in a miniature boutique store of real Angelic
Pretty merchandise, complete with displays and dressing rooms. Translators
(provided by Cosplay Oneesan) will be on hand in case you need help shopping.
(Note: Like most Japanese labels, Angelic Pretty's designs are petite sized.)

On the programming front, PMX continues to bring you creative new events:

* Angelic Pretty Fashion Brunch: Dress tea party and runway fashion show.
* Asian Food Challenge: We dare you to eat this. Last stomach standing wins.
* .pure furisuta: B-boy performance and workshop. Featuring SickStep.
* Late Nite Guitar Hero Jam Session: Go head-to-head on a MASSIVE screen.
* Asian Student Media Summit: School club presidents can network and mingle.
* K-Drama video track: Finally, someone understands. Bring your own Kleenex.

And we haven't forgotten these solid favorites:

Pacific Media Expo 2007 will be at the LAX Hilton from November 9-11
(Friday evening through Sunday, Veteran's Day weekend).
