Takii 6 ~NintenDecision 2008~ Dates & More Are Announced
April 13th, 2008 -- Upper Darby, PA -- 2008 will go down in the record books as one of the most important years in the lives of not only Asian culture enthusiasts, but Americans & the global population alike. Change is abound, with US Presidential Candidates campaigning for support in preparation for an election of epic proportions. But we ask you: who is talking about the state of anime in the USA? How about how we finally solve which system is the king (or queen) of the current gaming generation? Whatever happened to focusing on what really matters: singing in front of a large group of strangers in a karaoke contest for vocal supremacy? PDNMZ & The Lost Otakus (TLO) answer this call by presenting to you the 6th season of the world's most extreme Asian culture fusion festival, The Asian Karaoke Idol Invitational! TAKII 6 ~NintenDecision 2008~ is FREE to enter & comes to you from both TAKII HQ (online) & at The Rotunda (Philly, PA) on October, 25th-26th 2008 respectively.
....say HUHWHAH!? How can this be!? That's right -- TAKII 6 once again is breaking the mold by not only offering festivities on day 2 of TAKII 6 @ its physical venue, The Rotunda, but will be kicking off the weekend-long celebration on day 1 of TAKII 6 @ its virtual venue, TAKII HQ (online @ the official TAKII website)! Oct. 25th, 2008 (day 1 of TAKII 6) will feature the best that TAKII has to offer on the internet by way of live audio streaming, interactive requests, phone-in convos with guests, talk shows, special video presentations, online gaming contests on the PC, XBox Live, Wii, & DS), an extreme-style chat room of epic proportions, & much more. It's a world-wide party & everyone's invited! (Having a #1 Contender's Pass is not a requirement for day 1).
Oct. 26th, 2008 (day 2 of TAKII 6) will be held at The Rotunda & will not only put a focus on everything that you have learned to love about this fusion festival (such as Asian Karaoke Idol, Cosplay Battle Royale, Vid Game Tourneys, & Interactive Gameshows, to name a few), but will also feature the 2008 US Presidential Election: TAKII-Style (^_*). TAKII fanatics will have the chance to debate the hottest topics on the campaign trail as their favorite Asian/anime personality, talk about the things that matter most to them in terms of Asian culture, find out how to make sure your vote is cast on Election Day (Nov. 2008), & plenty more. Other festivities will also include special competitions & programming featuring the cast of characters from Super Smash Bros. Brawl, a live charity benefit concert, an election w/a Nintendo twist, & other event-related upgrades/premiers.
