Girugamesh Coming to Sakura-Con 2009
Seattle, WA- 9-15-2008 ANCEA (Asia Northwest Cultural Education Association) is proud to sponsor the 12th annual Sakura-Con, April 10th - 12th, 2009, at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center in Downtown Seattle Washington. Sakura-Con is the premiere Pacific Northwest convention devoted to Japanese animation (anime), comics (manga), gaming and traditional Asian culture. It is the destination event for an expected attendance of over 15,000 fans, industry leaders, celebrities, and artists.
Continuing our tradition of bring excellent Japanese musical guests to Seattle, we are proud to announce J-rock artists girugamesh will be performing at Sakura-Con 2009. Presented in collaboration with JapanFiles.com, girugamesh promises to be one of the hardest rocking acts to ever grace the Sakura-Con stage.
Formed in 2004, girugamesh made their USA debut at 2007's JRock Revolution event in Los Angeles, CA, which also featured artists such as MIYAVI, D'espairsRay, Alice Nine, and MUCC. In 2008, the band has been performing non-stop, bringing their "Stupid" tour to fans in Japan and Europe.

On September 5, 2008 - girugamesh debuted on JapanFiles.com with their full catalog available for legal digital download. Albums include: "Reason of Crying," "13's Reborn!," and "Girugamesh." Plus - the band's latest CD "Girugamesh" will be available at Hot Topic stores at the end of September. The USA release of this CD contains the exact same cover art and booklet as the Japanese version, and will be available for under $15.00.
