November 30th 2008 at The Clapham Grand, London, England.
LONDON, ENGLAND - September 22nd, 2008 - We are proud to introduce the Grand International Cosplay Ball, an exciting ball-style costume party for anime fans and cosplayers, taking place in London on November 30th!
The UK's first international cosplay event is being held at The Clapham Grand, a converted Victorian theatre which is now stylish nightclub. Cosplayers are attending from all over Europe and beyond, while special guests include world-famous cosplayer Yaya Han, who is preparing a new costume and performance exclusively for the Ball!
Expect to be entertained by a range of acts including live bands, DJ's, traditional ballroom dancing, a kimono fashion show, fire and burlesque performances and an Alice-In-Wonderland themed photography area.
Cosplay is not compulsory at this event, those in smart or stylish attire are equally welcome.

ABOUT THE GRAND INTERNATIONAL COSPLAY BALL: This event is organised by cosplayers for cosplayers, and is an independent event not associated with other conventions or expos. Our team members have previously worked to establish cosplay masquerades at events all over the UK, including anime and sci-fi conventions, Japanese festivals, club nights and launch events.

Overall, neither Pokemon the Movie: Black or its White counterpart really stands out from the already packed herd. While not terrible, these are films that can be safely left alone unless you or your child have a compulsion to truly catch 'em all.

Hiiro no Kakera is by no means a terrible show...it just isn't a very good one, either. With a stilted script and a team of heroes who feel incompetent, not to mention cookie cutter characters who do little to make themselves endearing or unusual, it does nothing to elevate itself above the masses.
