Anime Expo 2009 Teams Up with UTB Hollywood

Nation's Largest Anime and Manga Convention Teams Up with First 24-Hour
Japanese Television Channel in North America

Anaheim, California (June 5, 2009) — UTB, United Television Broadcasting
Systems, Inc., the first 24-hour Japanese digital television channel in
North America announces their media partnership with the nation's largest
anime and manga convention held July 2-5, 2009 at the Los Angeles Convention

UTB aggregates and broadcasts the best programming from Japan alongside its
own original local content. The weekly programming schedule includes live
news from Japan, entertainment, documentaries, educational programs, movies,
dramas and anime. All around the world, interest in Japanese “anime” has
skyrocketed in recent years. UTB is a free resource for anime lovers all
over Southern California, broadcasting a range of popular, highly rated
anime that everyone will enjoy.
