Anime Expo® 2009 Roars into Day 3 of Nation's Largest Anime and Manga Convention

LOS ANGELES, CA – July 4, 2009 – With the convention's most celebrated
events still to happen, already close to 40,000 unique attendees have flowed
into the halls of the Los Angeles Convention Center to attend the nation's
largest anime and manga convention, Anime Expo® 2009, from July 2 – July 5,

Today, the convention's most celebrated Main Events (AX Idol and Masquerade)
take place. This year's Main Events hall has the seating capacity of over
7,200 seats. This year's AX Idol is most exciting, as the singing winner
will win have an opportunity to create a demo tape and have it submitted to
Warner Music Japan for review and consideration. This year's Masquerade
event is always exciting as the best of the best compete on the grand stage
of Anime Expo® 2009 and show their innovative skits and highly elaborate
costumes to a standing room only hall.
Over 45,000+ unique attendees are expected to attend this year's convention
and a incredible slate of fourteen (14) power-house Guests of Honors, 50+
Industry Guests, a full exhibit hall and 24 hours of pure anime fun!
