A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! Houkago Play is a 4 koma (panel) manga series that tells the story of a high school student and his girlfriend. They both enjoy playing and talking about video games, but have a much harder time discussing their feelings for each other. KANOJO (“girlfriend”) is a perfect example of the “Tsundere” archetype, violently teasing her boyfriend while hiding her true feelings for him.
The striking Kanojo is a perfect representation of her character design from the manga series. Stark and minimalist in appearance, the girl is tall and extremely thin, with fantastically long legs. She wears a traditional school uniform and trademark black tights, with plenty of sculpted detail in the wrinkle lines, buttons, necktie, and flowing skirt. Her stylized face is dominated by her large yellow eyes. Striking a pose from the manga cover, Kanojo stands with her hands behind her while her beautiful jet black hair twists around her in long tendrils. Originally released as a garage kit sculpted by Goumoto-dou's Shinpei Yokoshima at Wonder Festival 2009, it is now available as a fully colored statue! Another member of the Japanese “Shining” series of games, Shining Force Feather is a turn-based tactical role-playing game from Flight-Plan and Sega available exclusively on the Nintendo DS. The game features character designs by Japan's renowned illustrator Ito-Noizi (best known for his work on Haruhi Suzumiya and Shakugan No Shana). The first Shining Force Feather character brought to life is ALFIN UMBRIO, a curious young artificial life form.
No one knows exactly why, but Alfin Umbrio is remarkably lively and curious for an artificial intelligence. Her inquisitive nature is captured perfectly in this new Ani*Statue. The pretty girl sits atop a rocky pillar base, reaching out to touch something that has caught her attention.
