2010 Cherry Blossom Tours on Sale

SPRING'S SAKURA TO SOON BLOOM
Tours Visiting Tokyo Cherry Blossom Spots on Sale Now

TOKYO, JAPAN – Although colder temperatures still cover most of Japan's main island of Honshu, it won't be long until Japan's famous sakura, or cherry blossoms, start to bloom. To make sure everyone is prepared for "sakura season," JTB Global Marketing & Travel has released a number of cherry blossom tours, for sale on JAPANiCAN.com.

The short-lived pink flowers of the cherry blossom tree have inspired Japanese for centuries to relax and celebrate life in the company of friends, family, and coworkers. JAPANiCAN.com invites visitors to Japan to share in that tradition with one of three new guided tours visiting well-known Tokyo cherry blossom viewing areas, on sale now. Tour prices start at JPY 3,600 for a tour of sakura spots in the historical downtown area of Yanaka, followed by a visit to the massively popular Ueno Park. Two night tours are also available. The first combines a stroll through the blossoms surrounding the Imperial Palace gardens with a gourmet kaiseki full-course dinner at Kagaya in Ginza. The final sakura tour lets guests experience yet another traditional Japanese activity after viewing Tokyo's cherry blossoms, by visiting Tokyo's Oedo Onsen Monogatari, a hot-spring park modeled after Edo-period Tokyo. To find our more about all three tours, visit JAPANiCAN's information page at http://www.japanican.com/sakura_tours/
