May 20th, 2010 -- Upper Darby, PA -- The 9th season of "the world's most extreme Asian culture fusion festival" is proud to announce not only its list of screenings for the "TLO Video Lounge", but the official line-up of its "Vid Game Tourneys" for Memorial Day Weekend!

TAKII wishes to thank the various companies & distribution organizations that have shared the following titles with the world, now for everyone's viewing pleasure only at TAKII 9 ~Yume Ga Kanau~ at the "TLO Video Lounge":

Among other things, Team TAKII Coordinators want fans to be aware that viewer discretion is advised. Not all titles are suited for all ages & as such you are encouraged to research more info each of the above-mentioned series via your favorite search engine, or website(s). Lastly, but certainly not least(ly), these anime shows & filmed features of Asian culture fandom wouldn't be possible without everyone's continued patronage of these precious arts; make sure to buy authentic products (some of which will be available in TAKII 9's "Dealer's Dominion" & "Community Centrale")!

For fusion festival fanatics who aren't content with just being a TLO Video Lounge audience member, they can compete in any of our finely-tuned, innovatively-insane "Vid Game Tourneys", featuring a wide span of gaming consoles & action-packed titles:

1. “Blind Faith Challenge” 1: Raiden Fighters Aces (360)
a. OBJECTIVE = score the most points before you die in 1 full turn (or a level's end).
b. RULES = blindfolded, 1 at a time, back of the line when your turn is done.

2. “Blind Faith Challenge” 2: Bomberman Land (Wii)
a. OBJECTIVE = last the longest in a series of battle royale-style matches.
b. RULES = blindfolded, 4P VS, random options for each match, losers go to the back of the line.

3. “Blind Faith Challenge” 3: Virtua Cop 2 (DC)
a. OBJECTIVE = score higher than your partner.
b. RULES = blindfolded, 2P co-op, random options, lowest scoring partner goes to the back of the line.

4. “Blind Faith Challenge” 4: BurgerTime (Intellivision)
a. OBJECTIVE = score the most points on Level 1.
b. RULES = blindfolded, 1 person at a time, default settings, turn ends when you die twice.

5. “Fusion Smash-Up Challenge” 1: DDR Konamix VS Marvel VS CAPCOM (PS)
a. OBJECTIVE = win in the face of obvious adversity.
b. RULES = 1 VS 1, coin flip determines if a normal controller, or dance pad is to be used for both games, 1st 30-mins = DDR Konamix, while 2nd 30-mins = Marvel VS CAPCOM, losers go to the back of the line.

6. “Fusion Smash-Up Challenge” 2: Rumble Roses XX VS Dead Or Alive 4 (360)
a. OBJECTIVE = rack up the most consecutive wins.
b. RULES = 1 VS 1, random options, winner selects the game to be played next.

7. “Fusion Smash-Up Challenge” 3: Wii Play VS Wii Sports (Wii)
a. OBJECTIVE = be the last person to have won a match.
b. RULES = 1 VS 1, standard VS, default options, games played will be rotated & TAKII Staff will randomly select the challenge to be played.

8. “Fusion Smash-Up Challenge” 4: F-Zero GX VS Sonic Riders (GC)
a. OBJECTIVE = be the last person in line to have won a race.
b. RULES = 4P VS, last person to have won select the game, random settings

Of course, it is worth mentioning that all rules for "Vid Game Free Play" will be in full-effect for our "Vid Game Tourneys", which includes using fusion festival-provided gaming equipment & copies of gaming titles. Coordinators also wish to fairly warn everyone that passionate gamers tend to dominate our entries for Tourneys each season, so as they say, "if you can't stand the heat, then you should get out of the kitchen" (LOL ^_^). Excessive douche-ry, however, isn't endorsed or tolerated by the festival.
