The “Premium GIG” will be held at CLUB ASIA in Shibuya, Tokyo, and they will perform songs from their brand new album “TO THE LOVELESS” (May 26 Release) for the first time!

-Boom Boom Satellites Biography-
The duo, which consists of bassist/programmer Masayuki Nakano and guitarist/vocalist Michiyuki Kawashima first broke in Europe in 1997.
They absorbed both electronic and rock elements to create a completely new and unknown sound, which at the same time has contributed to boost their profile as one of the most distinguished music producers in Japan.
Their first release of 12” single was made in Europe in 1997, which triggered rave reviews from definitive European music magazines such as Melody Maker, who compared their debut impact to the Chemical Brothers and Prodigy.
In the following year of 1998, the band traveled across Europe performing at 6 major rock festivals and accompanying a European tour of the legendary Electronica unit, Underworld, to perform with.
Then, right after their triumphant return to Japan, the band dropped the first album “OUTLOUD”, which was later released in Europe and the USA as well.
Their music has been featured in a number of films, commercials and television programs, one being from the 2008 box office smash “The Dark Knight”.
In 2007, they headlined for FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL07 White Stage, and their 6th album “EXPOSED” was digitally released in the US on 11/21/2007.
This summer, the band performed at SUMMER SONIC 09's biggest stage, the Marine Stadium, as well as their recent performances in the US: The Viper Room (LA) and Santos Party House (NY). After releasing 6 studio albums, the band has finally released their first best album!
