Gundam UC Volume 1, Stephanie Sheh at Anime Expo 2010

Tokyo, Japan, June 28, 2010 – Bandai Visual Co.,Ltd, a leader in the development and production of Japanese animation announced today that “Mobile Suit Gundam UC (Unicorn)”, the latest Gundam series, would be available at Anime Expo® 2010, which will be held at Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, CA, from July 1 to 4, 2010.


Blu-ray Disc of “Gundam UC” had been released in the US on March 12, 2010 and it is currently being sold at amazon.com and Bandai Entertainment's The Store (http://store.bandai-ent.com/) exclusively. It will be sold at the booth #301 (Bandai Entertainment's booth) at Anime Expo® and this is the very first time that the disc is sold outside of web stores. 4 pieces of postcards, which has never become available in the US before, will be given for free for those who purchased “Gundam UC” at Anime Expo®.

Stephanie Sheh (voice of heroine, Audrey Burne from “Gundam UC”) will sign autographs on Thursday, July 1 at Bandai Entertainment's booth from 4:30PM to 5:30PM. Her other major works include Eureka in “Eureka Seven”, Mikuru Asahina in “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya”, Akira Kagami in “Lucky Star”, and Orihime in “Bleach”.

Moreover, “Gundam UC” episode 1 will be screened on July 2, at 3:00PM at LACC Concourse Hall. Anime Expo® is the first convention that will screen the episode. It will be played in HD quality with English audio, and audiences will enjoy the vivid
characters and dynamic movements of mecha.

Gundam UC” drew much attention and became the center of people's conversation as soon as it became available in Japan for its quality and well-depicted saga. It immediately became a smash hit, and as of June 2010, Blu-ray Discs had been sold over 100,000 units in Japan only.
