Registration for Dealer's Room, Artist's Alley, Panels, AMVs, and Press Passes Now Open for Castle Point Anime Convention

HOBOKEN, NEW JERSEY – December 14, 2010. Stevens Institute of Technology's Castle Point Anime Convention has just opened its doors to interested con dealers, artists, and panelists. Registration forms for their dealer's room, artist's alley, and panels are now online. Forms can be accessed from links on their website, www.castlepointanime.com. Anyone having trouble accessing these links should email [email protected] or [email protected]. As always, submissions are accepted on a first come, first serve basis.

However, it has been confirmed that the con now has a larger Dealer's Room and Artist's Alley room. Con officials have secured Canavan Arena in Stevens' Schaefer Athletic Center to house the Dealer's Room and Artist's Alley this year. Canavan Arena is larger and has a higher capacity than where the Dealer's Room/Artist's Alley was previously held. Because of this, CPAC will now be able to accept more artists and dealers than last year.

AMV submissions are now also open. All AMV submissions can be sent to [email protected] or mailed to the Stevens anime club using the address posted in the AMV link. At this time, CPAC is accepting multiple screening entries per person, but may have to set a limit if there are too many submissions. Interested guests should check the website for proper submissions formatting.

Press pass applications are now being accepted for press outlets wishing to cover the con. Coverage of the con is mandatory for those attending as members of the press and proof of employment at a press outlet may be required. Press passes can be requested directly via the form provided on the CPAC website.

Online guest pre-registration remains open to the public. Tickets cost $12 for pre-registration and $15 at the door. There will be a group discount for groups of five for $50. The pre-registration website can be found at http://castlepointanime2011.eventbrite.com. The staff recommends that anyone who has trouble with online registration should email [email protected].
