Aniplex's Mitsudomoe Season 2 Coming to Crunchyroll

Eight episode follow-up to Summer 2010's number one new anime show to simulcast on Crunchyroll starting January 8th

January 5, 2011

San Francisco, Calif. – Crunchyroll, Inc., in conjunction with Aniplex, Japan's leading producer of blockbuster anime, announced today the simulcast release of the second season of Mitsudomoe, last summer's highest-rated new anime series (source: Anime News Network, Theoron Martin). Directed by anime veteran Masahiko Ōta with a screenplay adapted by Takashi Aoshima from Norio Sakurai's weekly manga series, show features highly-praised slapstick writing and a charming story centered around unbelievable classroom antics. Crunchyroll COO Brady McCollum said: “With the entire online Mitsudomoe audience already at our site, we look forward to presenting these very special, 'limited-edition' episodes to its fantastically loyal fanbase. Thanks to a high production value which Anime News Network calls a “cleverly written” and “nicely animated,” we look forward to the second season of Mitsudomoe becoming another standout hit.”

Mitsudomoe will be available in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil and Portugal.
