Genericon XXIV Reveals Late Guest Addition: Enjuhneer Artist Jenny Blanchard

Genericon XXIV reveals late guest addition: Enjuhneer artist Jenny Blanchard

TROY, NY (January 19, 2011) – This past Saturday, Genericon announced that its guest lineup was finalized at five guests, but in a surprise announcement today, staffers at the February 11- 13, 2011 college convention revealed that local webcomic artist Jenny Blanchard would also be attending as a guest.

Blanchard (Electronic Arts '09) is the author of Enjuhneer, a webcomic centered around life at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (a.k.a “RPI,” the university that has hosted Genericon each year for its nearly 25-year history). She started drawing Enjuhneer in 2008, and continues to update nearly two years after graduating. Blanchard will be running two panels about her comic and an “Enjuhneer edition” of the party game Werewolf.
