‘Otaku-Verse Zero’ Episode Nine: Premiums, Mascots, & Giveaways at the Tokyo Novelty Museum

Tokyo, Japan, January 27. 2011Yuu Asakawa (voice actress, K-ON!!, Girl's Bravo) and Patrick Macias (Editor, Otaku USA magazine) are the featured hosts of Otaku-Verse Zero, a new English language series from web TV network K'zStation.

Updated weekly and filmed in Tokyo, Otaku-Verse Zero aims to bring “otaku all over the universe” fun and lively coverage of anime, manga, and Japanese pop culture.

In episode nine, now available for viewing on-line, Yuu and Patrick report on the Tokyo Novelty Museum. This facility, recently opened in the ritzy Ginza district, aims to educate visitors about the fascinating history of Japan's promotional items and advertising characters. Items in this unique museum space range from collectable Star Wars and Pepsiman bottle caps, candy toy surprises, matchbooks, and even limited edition beef bowls. Plus Patrick and Yuu answer another batch of viewer mail!
