San Francisco, Calif. (March 11, 2011) – Crunchyroll, Inc., sends its deepest condolences and prayers to those affected by the earthquake and tsunami that struck the entire nation of Japan. Crunchyroll would like to help fund the emergency response and the long-term recovery efforts that will be needed to rebuild damaged communities. For every dollar donated, Crunchyroll will match donations. More information can be found on www.crunchyroll.com/helpjapan.
Once donations have been collected, an appropriate charitable organization will be chosen that will best assist the on-ground efforts to aid those affected. We will either select one of the charities: Red Cross of America - Japanese Relief Fund, Give2Asia, UNICEF, Global Giving or one that fits within our vision to bring much needed resources to those in need.
