Extra Evening of Experimental Film Added to Zipangu Fest Programme

Seasons Inter View: Takashi Makino will take place on Monday November 21st at the Apiary Studios, 458 Hackney Road, London E2 9EG at 8:30pm (Suggested donation £4, BYOB) and will include an introduction and Q&A with director Takashi Makino. Find out more here: http://apiarystudios.org/

More films by Takashi Makino will be shown at the ICA on November 19th and at a benefit night at Cafe Oto on November 22nd.

And Zipangu Fest's programme will be touring to the Bradford Media Museum on 10-12 December, and the Star and Shadow Cinema in Newcastle in January.

The second Zipangu Fest – celebrating the best of cutting edge and avant garde Japanese cinema – will be held at London's Institute of Contemporary Arts and Café Oto from November 18th to 24th, before moving to venues around the UK. The festival will showcase a selection of Japan's finest features, documentaries, shorts, animation and experimental films.
