Three New Guests Announced For Anime USA 2012

Two voice actresses and a DJ included in the AUSA lineup

Anime USA is proud to announce three new names that will be attending our convention as guests.

First, a voice actress new to Anime USA but a veteran industry luminary... Stephanie Sheh!

This Chinese American voice actress has established herself with leading roles from Orihime Inoue in Bleach to Mamimi Samejima in FLCL to Audrey Berne in Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn—and that's just scratching the surface! When she's not winning nominations like "Best Voice Actress in an Anime Comedy" from the American Anime Awards, Sheh also writes scripts for shows like Ah! My Goddess and directs video games like Resident Evil 5.

Second, a voice actress with quite the repertoire... Cherami Leigh!

The Texas based actress is best known for starring roles like Sae in Peach Girl, Patty in Soul Eater, and Setsuna and Akira in Negima. She has voiced many video games including Lux Pain as Nami. Cherami began acting at 6 and has worked with LeAnn Rimes, Bernadette Peters, Paul Dano, Ethan Hawke, Ashley Johnson, Wilmer Valderamma, Marcia Gay Harden, Thomas Jane, Avril Lavigne and many others. She has also appeared on NBC's “CHASE” & ABC's “The Deep End”. Cherami is currently working on several projects, on and off camera, that she is anxious to share with her fans.

Third, a familiar face you might remember from last year... DJ Speed Demon!

DJ Speed Demon returns to Anime USA to launch another full throttle, hands-in-the-air, floorscorching house music set. If you've experienced his sets before, you'll know this 20-year veteran of the DC rave and club scene means serious business when he works the crowd with his superhero arsenal of dancefloor weapons and skills. In addition to his DJ performances, Val is also a pro Captain Jack Sparrow and Sherlock Holmes impersonator and entertainer as well as studio producer.
