Bakuretsu Con 2012 Announces Terri Doty

Colchester, VT- Bakuretsu Con is pleased to announce that voice actress Terri Doty will be a guest at this year's convention.

Standing in the booth, after voicing her first character in Tsubasa: The Reservoir Chronicles in 2008, Terri Doty knew what she wanted to do – make nachos. And that she wanted to keep working in the world of anime.

Since then, she has lent her voice to a multitude of characters, like, Alice Kiriki in Ōkami-san & Her Seven Companions, Virgo/Jellal FERNANDES (young) in Fairy Tail, Ohara in Deadman Wonderland (which just finished airing on Toonami), Tsunami in Fractale, Yuuka Koyama/Yuuji Sakamoto (young) in Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts, Nella/Jiji in Dance in the Vampire Bund, Kamika Todoroki in Corpse Princess (aka Shikabane Hime), Naia in The Legend of the Legendary Heroes, Festum in Fafner: Dead Aggressor: Heaven & Earth, and Maria in Black Butler, just name a few.

Terri interned at FUNimation Entertainment shortly before graduating college. Then she was offered a job as Voice Director for such shows as Big Windup!, RIN - Daughters of Mnemosyne, Corpse Princess, Rideback, and Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts. She has also written adaptive scripts for Corpse Princess and Initial D: Fourth Stage.

In early 2010, Terri teamed up J. Michael Tatum and Stephen Hoff to start “That Anime Show,” a podcast that occasionally talks about anime among randomness. Colleagues from the anime industry visit T.A.S. and give listeners an…interesting look into their unpredictable, and often hilarious, lives. That Anime Show is available for download through www.thatanimeshow.com and iTunes.

Bakurestu Con is also pleased that web comic artist Michael "Mookie" Terracciano of Dominque Degan: Oracle for Hire, Matt Myers lead singer of The LeetStreet Boys, and Scott Melzer of Non.D.E. Fanfilms will be joining us once again. Please read more about all of our guests at www.bakuretsucon.org/guests.
