The Otaku Fashion Show at London Anime Con February 9Jan 8th 2013
The Bi-annual Otaku Fashion Show will take place as part of the London Anime Con (http://www.londonanimecon.com) on Saturday 9th February at 4pm. The Fashion Show focuses on showcasing alternative fashion from Lolita to steampunk and is a must for those looking to express their unique style!
The Fashion Show would like to invite aspiring models and members of the public to enter (please do so HERE or email [email protected] to apply) – applicants should have their own unique style since the show is about celebrating individuality and creativity in fashion. Spirit Models (the sole Accredited and Approved alternative and commercial modelling agency in the UK) will be present at this year's show to scout new talent and mingle with fellow Anime enthusiasts. Attendees can speak with representatives from the agency and have their picture taken with the models! Sponsors also include Devolution Magazine and Alt Fashion Magazine
The anime convention also has many other events including the Cosplay masquerade on the Sunday at 4pm. In this attendees can dress up as their favourite gaming and anime characters and have them judged by professionals in the cosplay industry. The event invites everyone to participate in this to have the chance of winning a £50 first prize and to have yourself and your cosplay showcased on the front page of the Animeleague website!
For further information, or to apply for a press-pass, please contact Rebecca Moriarty at [email protected] and visit the website www.animeleague.com. If you are interested in attending as a model, please email [email protected]
