Anime USA Welcomes Voice Actor, Laura Bailey

Fullmetal Alchemist, Shin-chan, Fruits Basket voice actor to appear at Anime USA 2013

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Mar. 26, 2013 — Anime USA announces the appearance of popular Japanese animation and
video game voice actress, Laura Bailey, at this year's convention on September 13–15, 2013. Bailey got her start in
anime as the voice of the rambunctious Kid Trunks in Dragon Ball Z. Since then, she's gone on to provide voices in
countless animated series and video games. Her more popular roles include the homunculus Lust in Fullmetal
Alchemist and the title role in Shin-chan.

Bailey worked as voice talent for numerous other anime series, such as:

In addition to anime, Bailey gave life into multiple video game and western animation characters. Most recently,
fans heard her as Black Widow in Marvel's Avengers Assemble, Lagoona Blue in the ghoultastic Monster High, and the title role of Catherine in the puzzle-platformer of the same name. Her voice has also been featured in the
following titles:

  • Persona 4
  • Catherine
  • Star Wars: The Old Republic
  • Final Fantasy XIII
