Crunchyroll to Stream Monogatari Second Season this Summer

Joining the ranks of Bakemonogatari and Nisemonogatari, this sequel is set to broadcast of the leader for Anime and Asian content

San Francisco, Calif. (July 3, 2013) – Crunchyroll, Inc., in partnership with Aniplex of America, will broadcast MONOGATARI this season for both free and premium users simultaneously starting on Tuesday August 6 at 10 am Pacific Time. Picking up where the OVA Nekomonogatari (Black) ended, the second season of Monogatari is set to feature the following chapters from the popular franchise written by Nisio Isin and illustrated by VOfan: Nekomonogatari (White), Kabukimonogatari, Otorimonogatari, Onimonogatari, and Koimonogatari.

Our protagonists – Koyomi Araragi and Hitagi Senjougahara – will return for the second season voiced respectively by the extremely talented Hiroshi Kamiya (Karneval, Natsume's Book of Friends, Wagnaria!!) and Chiwa Saito (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Baccano!, Sgt. Frog).

MONOGATARI will be available to audiences in the following territories: US, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.
