Digital Distributor Animaru Publishes the Because I'm a Maid Manga

Digital-first manga previously published in JManga

HELSINKI, FINLAND, September 4th, 2013 – Digital manga distributor Amimaru is publishing Sayuri Sakai's manga Because I'm A Maid! (Meido Desu Kara!).

The series has been in production by Stren Publishing since 2010, and currently has four chapters. It has since been published in a variety of digital services in Japanese, English, Chinese and French. The manga has already been published in English online by Stren Publishing's Japamanga service for iOS, Android, and Kindle devices, a variety of ebook platforms, and the now-defunct JManga service. In some services it has been published under the title "But I'm a Maid!".

Amimaru is publishing the manga in its Facebook reader app. The price of one chapter is 9 Facebook Credits (conversion rate varies by region). The first chapter is free.

Because I'm A Maid! tells the story of Karen Otonashi, who aims to follow the footsteps of her grandmother and become a great housekeeper. She applies for a job as a maid at the wealthy Mitsurugi household, and manages to come out top amongst the hundreds of applicants.

Karen starts her career as the servant for the three handsome sons of the Mitsurugi family - the strict Kazumasa, the flirtatious Keiji and the cute Rei. Her grandmother was once the housekeeper of the Mitsurugi manor, so she knows the brothers from her childhood – and as if that wouldn't be enough, there's even more trouble brewing.
