Lucky Penny Entertainment Announces the Litebox-style DVD Release of Space Pirate Mito
GRIMES, IA, July 9, 2014 — Anime producer Lucky Penny Entertainment is pleased to announce that SPACE PIRATE MITO will be available again on October 7, 2014.
The DVD set will feature the complete anime series, in a single DVD keepcase, with Japanese audio, English audio (Season 1 Only) and English subtitles. On-disc extras will include clean openings and closings, remastered video, updated translations, TV commercials, promotional videos and a special bonus episode.
This 26-episode television adaptation contains both Space Pirate Mito (Season 1) and Space Pirate Mito: A Pair of Queens (Season 2). Space Pirate Mito originally aired in Japan on TV Tokyo. The first season aired from January to March 1999 and the second season ran from July to October 1999. This new collection features animation by Triangle Staff (Macross Plus, Serial Experiments Lain), as well as direction by Takashi Watanabe (Boogiepop Phantom, Lost Universe).
