Bring Your Own B-Daman to Life in 3D

d-rights and Puteko Release Mobile Arcade-Style Shooter Featuring Personalized B-DAMAN

In October 2014, d-rights Inc. (Tokyo) and Puteko Inc. (New Zealand) announced that characters from the popular animated series B-Daman CrossFire and B-Daman Fireblast will appear in the 3D coloring app, ColAR Mix.

Since first appearing on Spain's NeoxKidz network in June, 2013, B-Daman CrossFire has aired in over 10 countries throughout Europe and North America. Along with the toys developed by Hasbro, the show has gained popularity in all these countries. B-Daman Fireblast is the follow-up series to Crossfire and has already been released across Asia. It also reached European shores in autumn, 2014, when it began airing in Italy.

At colarmix.com users can download a range of images, from sharks to dragons to hot air balloons. After coloring them in, they can use the colAR Mix app on their tablet or smartphone to render interactive 3D models of those colored images, bringing their artwork to life. Now kids will be able to interact with their own personalized B-Damans.

B-DAMAN is a property that is loved by kids all over the world,” said Edwin Darlow, CEO of Puteko Limited. “It's amazing content. With colAR Mix, they will be able to battle with their own decorated B-Damans. We're excited to have the opportunity to add to their fun.”
With the B-Daman Pack, characters rise from the page kids color along with their own special effects. Kids can also play games with the B-Daman they design. The B-Daman Fireblast Pack includes the six main characters from the show. Each character's ability, rapid-fire, power, or control, can be used in the game. Choose from six ways to enjoy coloring, animation, and gameplay.

The colAR Mix application can be downloaded for free from the App Store and Google Play. The collaboration between colAR Mix and B-Daman is anticipated to bring even more excitement to both platforms.
