Sailor Moon Orchestra Concert Comes to Los Angeles

Starring Original Soloists and English-dub Singing Voice

NEW YORK, NY – February 17, 2015 – Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon returns to the concert stage this summer! After a sold-out debut performance in New York City, iconiQ The Soundtrack Orchestra brings Sailor Moon Symphony: SERASYMPHONY to Los Angeles, California on Sunday, July 5 at 7:30pm.

Originally conceived as a video montage celebrating the series' 20th anniversary, the fan-made tribute restructures musical themes from the 1992 anime adaptation into a five-movement suite, complete with a double concerto performed by violinist Christina Bouey and composer-pianist Yasuhiko Fukuoka. This extended concert will feature a 30-piece chamber orchestra led by concertmaster Annette Homann, additional musical arrangements, and guest singer Jennifer Cihi – the English singing voice of Sailor Moon – who will join the orchestra for a special medley of tunes written for the North American DiC dub including favorites “My Only Love” and “Carry On.”

A crowdfunding campaign was launched on Feb. 15 and will run until Thursday, April 16. Contributors will receive exclusive perks such as early access to ticket reservations, a goodie bag of merchandise, invitations to a pre-concert panel discussion, and more. Full benefits are listed on the Kickstarter page: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/iconiquestra/sailor-moon-symphony-la-concert

Sailor Moon Symphony: SERASYMPHONY will be held in Zipper Hall inside The Colburn School at 200 S Grand Avenue. Tickets will be available for reservation online starting May 1.
