Israel's Harucon hosts Furukawa Toshio & Kakinoma Shino
Japanese voice actors to attend event on March 12th
JERUSALEM, ISRAEL - March 9, 2017 - AMAI in association with the Embassy of Japan and AONI Productions is proud to announce the arrival to Israel of voice actors Mr. Furukawa Toshio and Ms. Kakinoma Shino. Both voice actors will attend the convention as guests, taking part in a Q&A panel, as well as an academic panel on the subject of "Anime and Japan's Soft Power Diplomacy".
Furukawa Toshio started his acting career at the age of 12 at a children theater at Tokyo. He graduated from Nihon University of arts and continued acting at the theater. His debut role as a voice actor was a soldier in the anime Brave Raideen, but he gained his reputation thanks to roles as Kagege (Keroro Gunso), Kai Shiden (Mobile Suit Gundam), Piccolo (Dragon Ball), Ataru Moroboshi (Urusei Yatsura) and Portgas D. Ace (One piece).
Kakinuma Shino graduated from Konitachi College of Music. Her debut was in the anime Urusei Yatsura by Romiko Takahashi (Inuyasha's creator). Her major and famous roles are Videl (Dragon Ball Z Kai) and Naru Osaka (Sailor Moon). besides anime Kakinuma has voiced in many television programs, radio shows , games and Drama CD's
Harucon will be held on March 12th 2017 at the International Conventions Center in Jerusalem, Israel.
ABOUT HARUCON: Harucon (Haru – spring, Con – convention) is a convention dedicated to Japanese animation and comics (anime and manga), popular Japanese culture and gaming (Japanese console and board games). The convention is organized by AMAI (the Association for Manga and Anime in Israel).
