Silent Manga Audition Extra Round Two (SMA-EX2) Award Winners Announced!

The highest achievers are invited to Japan to meet with professional manga creators and editors.

Kichijoji, Tokyo, Japan 14th of April 2017 - The Japanese comic publisher Coamix Inc. announced the award winners for SILENT MANGA AUDITION® EXTRA ROUND TWO (SMA-EX2) and the JAPAN DOMESTIC SMA-EX2 on the 14th of April 2017. The top awards went to manga creators from Vietnam, Russia, and Italy.

The Grand-Prix, Grand-Prix Runner-up, and Sojo University Award Winners were also invited to the Kumamoto International Manga Fes. (http://www.kk-mangasai.jp) for the awards ceremony in Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. During their stay in Kumamoto the award winners worked with the children of Kumamoto Prefecture to create a mural of smiles. The award winning SMA-EX2 entires will also all be displayed during the Kumamoto International Manga Fes.
