POP Goes the Kaiju in Seven Seas' Release of Ultra Kaiju Anthropomorphic Project manga Series

(LOS ANGELES, May 24th, 2017) – Seven Seas Entertainment is excited to announce the license acquisition of the manga series Ultra Kaiju Anthropomorphic Project by Shun Kazakami and featuring character designs by POP, a hilarious gag manga that reimagines the iconic monstrous kaiju from The Ultraman franchise as adorable high school monster girls!

When evil aliens arrive on Earth, seeking its destruction, it's up to the planet's kaiju monsters to save the day! But things aren't exactly as you'd expect... These kaiju may be adorable young women, but they're no less ready to kick some alien butt! Featuring character designs by POP, a designer known for a distinct, adorable art style that can be seen in a variety of illustrated novels and series, including the POP Wonderland collection from Dark Horse. Seven Seas will publish the Ultra Kaiju Anthropomorphic Project manga series in print for the first time in North America as single volume editions. Volume 1 will be released on February 20, 2018 for $12.99 USA / $14.99 CAN.
