Animation Artist/Voice Actor Chris Niosi To Be Guest At Otakon

Washington, D.C. (July 30, 2017) – Animation artist, creator and voice actor Chris Niosi will be a guest at Otakon 2017, according to Otakorp, Inc.

In the anime world, Niosi's voice credits include the likes of Reigen Arataka in "Mob Psycho 100"; Dezel in "Tales of Zestiria"; Garma Zabi in "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin"; Lagos in "Patema Inverted"; as well as various characters in the "Pokemon" franchise and most recently, Pegasus/Helios in Viz Media's upcoming uncut dub of "Sailor Moon SuperS."

Also known on the internet as "Kirbopher," Niosi has been producing animated shorts and shows since 2004 on sites like Newgrounds and YouTube. His biggest claim to fame is his web series "TOME: Terrain of Magical Expertise," which ran for 16 episodes. Old-school fans might recognize his Flash cartoons "Super Freakin' Parody Rangers," "NiN10Doh!" and his two musical Super Mario RPG animations, "Rawest Forest" and "Waltz of the Forest." You might have also seen his animation work on games like "Skullgirls" and "A Hat in Time"! Currently, he's producing YouTube vlogs called "Kirblogs," doing freelance, recording voiceover and working on his very first video game project.

Niosi first attended Otakon in 2005 as a regular attendee and is honored to be debuting as a guest over a decade later at Otakon's first year in D.C.!

Otakon 2017 will be held August 11-13, 2017 at the Walter Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.
